Continuing Education Training
FOR: ARF, GH, STRTP (Existing Administrators, Direct Support Care staff, child care counselors, Foster Parents)
Administrators of all facility types (GH, ARF & STRTP) are mandated to take 40 hours of CEU’S every 2 year cycle to re-certify their administrator certificate in order to keep it current.
40 hour CEU requirements comprise of Mandatory course topic content and optional course topic content a total of which must be 40 hours/CEU’s in the 2 year period leading up to your certificate expiry date.
Mandatory Course topics for Administrators per CCL:
For ARF – HIV/TB
For All Administrators – at least 1 hour of Cultural Sensitivity/LGBT training AND at least 4 hours of Laws & Regulations training
