Description
Empowering individuals with IDD to make their own choices can help them overcome barriers. People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) continue to face barriers to participating as equal members of society. They are often seen as unable to make choices or problem solve in their daily life. This course provides Administrators with an overview of teaching and supporting the choice-making process for people with IDD.
Course is designed and approved to meet Community Care Licensing requirements toward re- certification for a GH, ARF and STRTP Administrator certificate.
